The Promoter operates competitions – skill-based games resulting in the allocation of prizes in accordance with these terms and conditions on the website www.ruffl.co.uk

1 – Introduction

a) These rules apply to all competitions that are promoted on and run through our website.

The following terms apply to all entries submitted to the competition. In addition to these terms, the prize will be clearly advertised, or a cash prize as described within the promotion.

b) By submitting an entry, Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not so agree, do not submit an Entry.

c) This prize competition is run by the Promoter. You can contact us using the “Contact Us” section of the website.

d) To enter a competition, you must follow the instructions on the website for each specific competition.

e) The applicable costs, if any, for entering a competition are set out on the website.

f) In entering the Competition, Entrants are doing so on the understanding that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, are over the age of 18 and agree to be bound by them.

2 – Eligibility and Restrictions

a) To be eligible to enter a competition: i). all persons must be aged 18 years and over and who are residents in the United Kingdom. Entry is not open to anyone under the age of 18.

We will check all competition winners’ dates of birth prior to prizes being received. If found underage the draw will be void and a re-draw will take place. ii. there must be no connection between the Entrant and the Promoter. A connection includes their immediate family, agents, employees or professional advisers; or anyone else connected with the development or operation of the website or the conduct or administration of the competition in any way, shape or form; or the members of the immediate families or households of the above.

b) The maximum number of entries a person can make for a specific competition shall be as specified on each competition page on the website.

c) Each competition will have a published number of maximum tickets available. Once this number of entries have been received, the competition will be closed to new entries, notwithstanding the published closing date.

d) The Promoter reserves the right to terminate an Entrant’s account at any time, if they believe the Entrant is abusing the services, being abusive or aggressive to other Entrants or staff or the Promoter believes that it is not genuinely Entrant who is entering the Competition.

e) The Promoter reserves the right to refuse an Entrant’s entry at their own discretion.

3 – Legal Obligations

a) By entering a Competition the Entrant (‘Entrant’, meaning also henceforth ‘you’ and ‘your(s)’) will be deemed to have the requisite legal capacity to do so, you confirm you have read and understood these business terms and conditions and that you are bound by them and by any other conditions set out in any of the Promoter’s related promotional material.

b) Competitions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any matters or disputes relating to the Competition will be determined under English Law, in respect of which the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

c) In the event of you participating in a Competition online via the Website, by accepting these business terms and conditions you confirm that you are not breaching any laws in your country of residence regarding the legality of you entering our Competitions. The Promoter will not be held liable in any way in respect of any Entrant entering any of our Competitions unlawfully.

If in any doubt you should immediately leave the Website and check your position with the relevant authorities in the relevant country in which you resident.

4 – Competition Entry

a) You may enter Competitions via the Website. Multiple Competitions may be operated by the Promoter at any one time and each Competition will have a specific prize.

b) Availability and pricing of Competitions is at the discretion of the Promoter and will be specified at the point of sale on the Website. There is no obligation imposed upon you to pay to enter any Competition as each Competition has a free entry route available – please see rule 11 below, for details of free entry.

The availability of a free entry route for each Competition means that the Competition does not fall within the definition of a Competitions under the Gambling Act 2005 and can be operated legally in the UK without any need for a licence.

c) In order to enter a Competition, you will need to register an account with us. (i)You can register an account online – in order to do so you will be requested to provide an email address. Please note you are only permitted to register one account with us. Under no circumstances must any Entrant register or attempt to register more than one account with us. Failure to observe this obligation, will result in immediate disqualification. Further in the case of a free Prize draw, the Promoter will only accept one entry per account.

d) When playing a Competition online via the Website, please follow the on-screen instructions to: (i) select the Competition you wish to enter and when you are ready to purchase your Ticket(s), provide your contact and payment details. You will need to carefully check your details and then tick the declaration, confirming you have read and understood the Competition business terms and conditions; (ii) once you have played the Challenge, if you are successful you then purchase your Tickets. When your payment has cleared, we will then contact you by email to confirm your entry into the Competition. Please note that when entering online/or by post you will not be deemed to have been entered into the Competition until we confirm your Ticket(s) order back to you by email.

e) The Promoter will not accept Entries that are automatically generated by computer; illegible, incomplete; or have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;

f) The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify entrants if their conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition.

g) Entries on behalf of another person can be accepted and joint submissions are allowed. However, a single account and person will be required to take ownership of the prize and be the ticket holder.

h) In completing or answering the questions, the entrant recognises that they may have a time limit and will be required to exercise skill and judgment to ensure they have submitted a correct entry. (i) The Promoter reserves the right at any time during the Competition and with immediate effect to amend the questions, whether the nature of the questions(s)/test or the time limit to complete it to ensure it remains a test of skill and judgment skill. Any such changes shall not affect the validity of or qualification as a correct entry of any entries received prior to the time of such change.

j) The Promoter reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any incomplete Entries if it has reasonable grounds for believing that an Entrant has contravened any of our business terms and conditions.

k) All Entries become the Promoter’s property to the full extent allowed by applicable law and will not be returned by the Promoter.

l) The Competition is deemed to close when the last number is taken, no further entries after this time will be accepted.

m) All Entrants (including those entering free of charge) must create an account prior to entering, and are required to supply an email address to proceed in the Competition.

n) The Promoter will run all competitions for a specified period. Please see each Competition for details of start and end times and dates (‘Promotion Period(s)’).

5 – Judging the Competition

a) Each competition will have the selection process detailed in order to make the entrant aware of how the competition will be drawn. Tool available include a 100% random ball spinning machine (Random Machine) which will determine the main winner of each competition, the use of Instant Winners whereby a specified number of Instant Win prizes are available on a tickets that are randomly assigned to ticket purchasers, Automatic Draws whereby the ticketing system will draw a winner automatically at the end of the specified time or when all tickets are sold and lastly a third party Random Number Generator (RNG) service.  


b) Due to selection of the winner being undertaken by the Random Machine, there will only be one main winner per Competition, except in the instance where The Promotor decides to implement the Instant Win functionalty

c) The Promoter will endeavour to contact Winner(s) using the telephone numbers and email address provided at the time of Entry (or as subsequently updated) and held by the Promoter securely in our database. However, it is the Entrant’s sole responsibility to check and update these details. If for any reason details are inputted or recorded incorrectly, the Promoter will not be held responsible for any consequences of whatever nature and howsoever arising. Entrants must therefore carefully check with the Promoter that their contact details have been recorded accurately.

d) If for whatever reason the Promoter is unable to contact a Winner within 21 days (which period can be extended at the sole discretion of the Promoter) immediately following the end of a Competition or the Winner fails to confirm acceptance of the Prize or the Winner is disqualified as a consequence of not complying with or contravening any of these business terms and conditions, the Winner will automatically forfeit the Prize and the Prize will remain in the possession and ownership of the Promoter.

e) In the event of the Promoter (for whatever reason) closing a Competition early, the Winner will be selected from all valid and eligible Entries received by the Promoter prior to the date of closure, save that the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to close a Competition early without selecting a Winner. If a Competition is closed without selecting a Winner, the Promoter will provide all entrants with Game Credit to enable them to replay equivalent tickets in a subsequent Competition. The Promoter also reserves the right in its sole discretion to extend the closing date of any Competition.

f) All Entrants are automatically entered onto the Promoter’s database for the purpose of conveying information regarding the status of their Competition, as well as any future Promotions or Competitions which are offered by the Promoter.

g) Competitions that have a guaranteed draw date can be extended if less than 80% of tickets are sold.

h) The Competitions can have time added on up to 3 times at a maximum of 20 days per time. If the Competition is not sold out after the 4th timer running out, then the Prize that will be awarded will be a 70% cash prize for the amount of money taken during this Competition. Only the Competition entrants will be entered into the draw.

6 – Winners and Prizes

a) All Prize Winners must show proof of their identification on delivery of the prize. Any failure to comply with this obligation may result in the Winner being disqualified and the Promoter retaining the prize.

b) All Winners will also be required to provide photographs and/or pose for photographs and videos, which may be used in future marketing and public relations by the Promoter in connection with the Competition and in identifying them as a winner of a Competition and by entering the Competition, all such winners are deemed to have given their consent.

c) Following receipt and verification of the details requested above by the Promoter and the Winner having satisfied the requirements of the Promotor’s business terms and conditions, the Winner(s) will be contacted in order to make arrangements for delivery of the prize.

d) Prizes are determined and selected owned by the Promoter, with ownership residing with The Promotor or Strategic Partners from the date of the Competition going live on the Website to the date that the Winner receives the Prize. All prizes are picked and purchased by the Promoter and allocated by the Promoter in accordance with these business terms and conditions to the Winner. Details of each available prize can be found on the Website on the Competitions pages.

e) The Promoter takes no responsibility for the prize awarded after delivery, once the winner receives the prize the Promoter does not insure the prize. No insurance/Tax/warranty comes with the prizes and the Promoter cannot be held responsible for the prize once handed over to the Winner.

f) Terms relating to the delivery or collection of the prize will be noted on the draw details. The Promoter has a right to charge the winner delivery fees if they want the prize delivering anywhere other than the specified areas.

g) All entrant expenses to collect the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winners. h) All prizes are subject to the business terms and conditions of the Promotor prize as well as the provider, manufacturer or supplier.

i) Each Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable or convertible to other substitutes and cannot be used in conjunction with any other vouchers, offers or discounts, including without limitation any vouchers or offers of the Promoter or other prize suppliers.

7 – Winners’ Personal Data and Data Protection Notice

a) Acceptance of the prize by the Winner means they are required to have their photo and video taken by the Promoter for promotional purposes (Public Relations and Marketing), both immediately after their win and in the future for use in accordance with the terms of paragraph 6(b), unless otherwise prohibited by law.

b) By entering a Competition, you agree to the use of your name, address, and/or photograph or other likeness, as well as your appearance at publicity events without any additional payment (save for reasonable travel expenses) and as required by the Promoter in the event of you being declared a Winner.

c) Any personal data that you supply to the Promoter or authorise the Promoter to obtain from a third party, by way of example (and not limitation), a credit card company, will be used by the Promoter to administer the Competition and fulfil prizes where applicable. In order to process, record and use your personal data the Promoter may disclose it to (i) any credit card company whose name you give; (ii) any person to whom the Promoter proposes to transfer any of the Promoter’s rights and/or responsibilities under any agreement the Promoter may have with you; (iii) any person to whom the Promoter proposes to transfer its business or any part of it; (iv) comply with any legal or regulatory requirement of the Promoter in any country; and (v) prevent, detect or prosecute fraud and other crime. In order to process, use, record and disclose your personal data the Promoter may need to transfer such information outside the United Kingdom, in which event the Promoter is responsible for ensuring that your personal data continues to be adequately protected during the course of such transfer

8 – Copyright and moral rights

You warrant to us that you created your competition entries, that you own all of the copyright in those entries, and that our use of the entries in accordance with these rules will not infringe any person’s intellectual property rights or other legal rights. You grant to us an exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to copy, store, edit, distribute, transmit and publish your competition entries. You also grant to us a right to sub-license these rights. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you irrevocable and unconditionally waive your rights to be identified as the author of your competition entries and to object to any derogatory treatment of your competition entries. The Promoter will store and process the entrant’s personal information (which must include details of at least one form of contact which will be used for the following purposes: i. to notify any winner or runner(s) up that they that they have won a prize in the competition; II. to administer the website and conduct the competition; and III. after a draw, to post the winner and any runner(s) up’s first name only and town of residence on the website and in publicity about the competitions.

9 – Publicity

We may undertake publicity activities relating to competitions and prize awards. We may publish and/or arrange for the publication of prize winners’ first names, surnames, ages, towns or regions of residence and prize details. We will also require prize winners to send pictures for promotional events relating to the competition.

10 – Limitation of Liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any entrant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of submitting and entry or in relation to the Property except where it caused by the negligence or fraud of the Promoter, their agents or distributors, or that of their employees. The winner’s statutory rights are not affected.

The liability of the Promoter to each entrant is limited to the aggregate value of the entry fees paid by that entrant.

The Promoter accepts no liability for errors or omissions contained within the description of the prize or for any other description or specification or any other part of the website. It is the responsibility of each entrant (and in particular the winner) to satisfy him/herself as to the accuracy of any such details and/or any content of the website.

Each entrant agrees that the usual requirement under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 for any goods and services ordered online to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to the competition.

11 – Free Entry Rights 

a) You must first of all create an account then send your Name, Address, Date of Birth, Email Address and Contact Phone Number on a postcard to (Creed Digital Limited, 2 High Street, Much Wenlock, Shrops, TF136AA).

b) The postcard must be sent during the competition period and received by the Promoter before the competition closing date. First or second- class postage must be paid for by you. Free entries are limited to one entry per competition per household, per postcard.

c) The Entrant must state which Competition they wish to enter and the Promoter will then generate your confirmation (by email) of receipt along with your specific draw reference.
Where applicable these Business Terms and Conditions also apply to free Competition entries.

12 – Electronic Communications 

a) No responsibility will be accepted for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, for any computer, telephone, cable, network, electronic or internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, availability, for the acts or omissions of any service provider, internet accessibility or availability or for traffic congestion or unauthorised human act, including any errors or mistakes.

b) The Promoter shall use its best endeavours to award the prize for a raffle to the correct Entrant. If due to reasons of hardware, software or other computer related failure, or due to human error the prize is awarded incorrectly, the Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the raffle prize and award it to the correct Entrant, at its sole discretion and without admission of liability. In the event that the Promoter closes a raffle early, the Winner will be selected from all valid and eligible Entries received by the Promoter prior to the date of closure, except that the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to close a raffle early without selecting a Winner. In the event that a raffle is closed without selecting a Winner, the Promoter will give all entrants Game Credit to enable them to replay equivalent tickets in a subsequent raffle.

c) The Promoter also reserves the right at its sole discretion to extend the closing date of any raffle. The Promoter shall not be liable for any economic or other consequential loss suffered or sustained to any persons to whom an award has been incorrectly made, and no compensation shall be due.

d) The Promoter shall use its best endeavours to ensure that the software and website(s) used to operate its raffles perform correctly and accurately across the latest versions of popular internet, tablet and mobile browsers.

e) For the avoidance of doubt, only the ticket recorded in our systems, howsoever displayed or calculated, shall be entered into the relevant raffle and the Promoter shall not be held liable for any raffle entries that occur as a result of malfunctioning software or other event.

13 – Refund Policy 

No refunds of the entry fee will be given in any event, including;


a) if, following your entry into the competition, you subsequently find out that you are not eligible to enter the competition or claim the Prize;


b) if, following your entry into the competition the eligibility criteria for entering the competition or claiming the Prize changes and you are no longer eligible; or


c) if you are disqualified from the competition by the Promoter for any reason. 

d) if the entrant subsequently attempts to process a “Chargeback” with their card provider, this will be thoroughly investigated by The Promoter to determine if there is a valid claim. If the claim is determined to be valid, the Chargeback will not be disputed. 

e) if after investigation it is determined that the claim is not valid, The Promoter reserves the right to dispute the Chargeback and if required will look to use the legal route to reclaim the Chargeback value.
